If you are a cigar lover you need this book

I love good cigars and being curious I wanted to know more about them. This book helps to fill the knowledge void. In combination with videos on YouTube, etc. you will learn and see how cigars are made. The videos only tell part of the long and intricate story of making cigars. The books narrative, pictures and drawings give you an excellent knowledge base to understanding cigars.
I enjoyed the section on cigar etiquette and will prevent you from making embarrassing mistakes if you smoke at your cigar store.
The compendium of cigar manufactures was complete at the time and is still a good reference but could use updating because of the massive number of new cigar makers.
I have a cigar journal and the ring gauge is much more useful than the useless ones on the Internet.
I constantly refer to this book and I think you may really enjoy it too. And I also enjoy the Hacker sense of humor.

Very Informative

This little cigar book packs a heck of a punch. It covers just about everything. So much so that I went out and bought four different types of tobacco (two fillers, a binder and a wrapper) and I'm growing them now to roll my own cigars in the fall. Very informative and well written with lots of pictures.
